Taste of Hartford Returns January 23rd to Costa del Sol

Save the date! The Winter Taste of Hartford is back at Costa del Sol starting Tuesday, January 23rd and goes through Sunday, February 4th. We’re featuring our fantastic $30.18 fixed price menu, in addition to our regular menu. Choose an appetizer or soup, an entrée, and a dessert. Our fixed price menu includes:

Appetizer or Soup

Sopa Castellana
Classic Castilian style bread soup made with beef and chicken broth, diced Serrano ham, bacon, chorizo, and egg

Empanadilla
Spanish savory turnover filled with salted cod fish and raisins

Tosta de Jamón y queso Fontina
Flat bread with Serrano ham, Fontina cheese, fire roasted artichokes, roasted red peppers, baby arugula and drizzled with fig balsamic glaze

Atún a la guindilla
Tuna pieces sautéed in virgin olive oil, garlic, shallots, guindilla pepper, and white wine

Ensalada del invierno
Mixed greens, radicchio, blood oranges, roasted beets, goat cheese, Marcona almonds and dressed with citrus vinaigrette


Entrée
Rape con alubias
Grilled monk fish medallions over a cannellini bean ragout and drizzled with paprika oil

Codillo de cerdo
Pork shank Osso buco with Amontillado sherry demi-glace and herbed mashed red potatoes

Bistec a la plancha
Grilled Certified Black Angus New York strip steak with a green peppercorn brandy sauce and crispy shallots

Linguini con camarones
Shrimp sautéed with sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, black olives, basil, and tossed with linguini

Paella de la casa
House paella with mussels, clams, shrimp, chorizo, and chicken cooked in saffron rice (minimum for 2)


Dessert
Flan
Spanish caramel custard

Arroz con leche
Creamy rice pudding
